Meet Neil and Matt below.

We have a great team of repairers and painters on board. Our staff are committed to ongoing training to ensure we keep up with the rapidly changing automotive advances.

Introducing the team


Neil Boyd It was more than thirty years ago I did my time as an automotive refinisher in a small shop at the end of Barrys pt road Takapuna. I now find myself, more than 25 years later, at the same end of Barrys pt road in a brand new panel and paint shop. After being the paint shop manager for many years at Kevey Collision Repairs, I took the opportunity to buy out the owner and have since managed the business successfully. Today, with partners Matt and Lani Gair, we are taking the business to a new level. Initiating an on-line workflow system, planning systems, measuring efficiencies and of course the latest in new equipment allowing us to keep up with repair technologies on today’s modern car. There is no doubt, being a part of a successful team is an inspiration. When I do get a break, my time is best spent away on the boat with family and friends, fishing and diving, or taking an interest in my daughter Kristies dance school and following her professional career. Whenever I can, I enjoy spending time with my son Alex, whether it be going to the movies, or giving him the best career advice I can offer.		Matt Gair I started panelbeating for Casey Panelbeaters after finishing school at the age of 18. I qualified as a tradesman panel beater in 1995. I have worked in 3 shops in NZ and one in London. I am well trained in all aspects of the repair industry and continue to keep up with online and off site training. After being panel shop foreman for Kevey Collision I decided to broaden my experience and left to become part of the office management team at another panel shop. A short while later the opportunity arose to become partner in Kevey’s and I made the move back. Since then life has been flat out with the business upgrades, move and more recently the new addition of another baby boy.
